4 Insert the metal plate over the pins at the other end of the

lamp.

5 Screw the knurled thumbscrew back into place.

6 Lift the rear side of the document cover again.

7 Place the plastic plate vertically over the lamp unit, and use

the screw you removed earlier to fasten the plastic plate.

8 Replace the document cover.
