7 Prepare a stack of envelopes (no more than 100) by tapping

them against a flat surface to align the leading edge.

8 Insert the envelopes into the envelope feeder with the print

side up and the flaps toward the rear of the printer.

9 Grasp the left side guide release, and adjust the guide so

that it touches the left side of the envelopes.

»Note:

Do not adjust the guides too tightly against the envelopes.

10 Make sure the envelope stack does not exceed the limit mark

on the side guide and then lower the envelope pressure plate

to stabilize the envelope stack.

11 To fit the envelope stack properly press lightly on the outer

edge of the stack to push it into position.

The envelope stack should be slightly angled from the bottom to

the top.

12 Turn the printer power back on and check the LCD display to

make sure the printer is ready to print.
